Willmar firefighters extinguish blaze Thursday at Panda Garden Buffet – West Central Tribune

WILLMAR – Willmar firefighters appear to have brought a fire that damaged the Panda Garden Buffet on Thursday morning in Willmar under control.

Firefighters used an aerial ladder to direct water onto the roof and exhaust system of the popular First Street South restaurant. Flames were visible around the exhaust system and roof as firefighters battled the blaze by mid-morning.

Firefighters also attacked the fire from the inside.

No other details were immediately available as to the extent of the damage or the cause.
