Those who reside in Potong Pasir are in for a treat; new cafe To go up opened its doors along Avenue Potong Pasir 1, a two-minute walk from the MRT station. The sub-HDB cafe serves coffee, fresh waffles and gelato, as well as artisan cakes perfect for dessert or tea time.

The aesthetic-looking cafe is adorned with light pink interiors and chic wooden furnishings, with a large circular window to let in natural light. Limited seating is available here, so be sure to visit during off-peak hours to snag a table.

Go for them Brown butter waffles (from $6)surmounted by a single ($3.90) or double ($7.50) scoop gelato for extra indulgence. There is a wide selection of ice creams on display, including White Peach Oolong, Lavender Earl Gray, black sesameand Raspberry Lychee Pink. Premium flavors are available for an additional $1 each. You can choose to accompany your dessert with a hand-rolled rosemary cone ($1) if you prefer.

For those who like their sweet treats, check out the range of freshly baked tea cakes, including Strawberry Cheesecake ($7.20) and Yuzu Lemon Tea Cake ($6.20). There is also a Black Sesame Cake ($6.90)covered with dark frosting and sprinkled with black and white sesame seeds for extra nuttiness.

Wash it all down with a cup of joe. In addition to your usual black ($4.50) and white ($5.50) cafe, there is a French Vanilla Latte ($6) and Toasted Hazelnut Latte ($6) if you’re up for something different. Alternatively, non-coffee drinkers can try their Orange Chocolate ($6.50) beverage.
