Turning Stone Resort Casino to hire 100 people for new buffet restaurant

Turning Stone’s new restaurant, 7 Kitchens, is looking to hire nearly 100 positions before it opens in the spring of next year, the Oneida Indian Nation said in a statement on Wednesday.

7 Kitchens is a reinvented market-style restaurant that Nation officials say will redefine the traditional buffet dining experience. The restaurant is expected to open in April.

The Nation said it is looking to fill a variety of full-time and part-time positions, including chefs, cooks, bartenders, hosts, cashiers, servers and porters.

Culinary positions offer entry-level employees a starting salary of $17 to $20 an hour, plus a signing bonus of $1,000. Additionally, many positions offer health care and 401(k) benefits.

7 Kitchens will offer a variety of artisan dishes including Italian dishes, seafood, Asian dishes, The Carvery, The Grill, a Taco Bar and The Bakery, officials said. Its contemporary design will provide seating for over 375 guests, making it Turning Stone’s largest restaurant.
