Calling all pancake lovers! A new sweet spot has arrived in San Antonio. Kaffeinated, a creperie and café in the Rim Shopping Center, will hold its grand opening to the public at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 26.

The first 25 people in line will receive a free drink of their choice, according to a press release.

Since its pre-opening on January 28, Cafe San Antonio has been open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The shop, located at 17619 La Cantera Parkway, hopes to become the best local spot for sweet treats, healthy bites and a great cup of coffee in all of San Antonio, according to its website.

The cafe offers a range of cold and hot drinks ranging from milkshakes and teas to Turkish coffee. Their menu has an abundance of sweet dishes to choose from, including sweet and savory pancakes, loaded waffles, and chocolate dips.

Their most popular items are triple chocolate, mixed fruit, and Kinder Bueno pancakes and waffles. Other unique items on the menu include the cinnamon roll and a “sushi” pancake wrapped in banana, powdered sugar and three kinds of Belgian chocolate.

And if you’re not the sweet type, the cafe also has meat and veggie pancake options like a smoked salmon pancake, a chicken Florentine pancake, and a teriyaki chicken pancake.

Their plates aren’t the only thing that’s sweet, in fact, the cafe’s decor is filled with pink, purple, and gold aesthetics with a canopy of pink and purple floral walls – making for opportunities to perfect photos for Instagram.
