We’re talking about all-you-can-eat lobster! And that’s just the beginning.
The Nordic is a fourth generation restaurant in Charlestown, Rhode Island. They are known for their high end buffets. Over 100 premium items like Lobster, Alaskan King Crab Legs, Black Angus Filet Mignon and Prime Rib… to name a few. And all you can eat!
The owners say that people travel all over the country to come to the Nordic countries. But it’s not just food (make no mistake, it’s 95% food) but so is the view overlooking a picturesque lake flanked by fire pits and farm animals.
It’s a one-of-a-kind restaurant with a stunning buffet that’s been in the family since 1963. But here’s the bad news. It’s not open right now. But good news, the opening date of April 22 gives you plenty of time to prepare your trip! Oh and save for your meal. The price is about as mind-blowing as the food on offer:
$125 for dinner? Oh, it’s a dinner you’ll talk about for a long time. How many lobsters can you eat? But make room for the bacon-wrapped scallops, add some Alaskan king crab legs and a milkshake. Yes, milkshakes.
There are a few rules. This is a dining experience of up to two hours. So tear those lobsters apart or stick to the lobster macaroni and cheese. There is also a dress. ‘Appropriate casual dress is required.’ No tank tops or muscle shirts for men and women, they say, keep your belly bare for the beach. Jeans, shorts and sneakers go very well.
All right, who’s going to Rhode Island?
