New all-you-can-eat buffet moving into the Grants building

Coming soon: how the JRC Global Buffet website follows their new restaurant

JRC Global Buffet is to open a new branch of its all-you-can-eat restaurants in central Croydon in “mid-2022 in a completely new concept”.

The restaurant chain already operates from premises in Valley Park, off Purley Way.

Central Croydon will be the ninth JRC Global Buffet to open.

The downtown location appears to be moving to the large vacant unit in the Grants building, which was until last month the Milan Bar, operated by Wetherspoons.

The premises on Purley Way are what was once claimed to be the largest restaurant in the world.

Global Buffets offer, they say, “fresh, mouth-watering dishes from around the world, all under one roof.”

Their website states, “From the colors and spices of authentic Indian dishes to the delicacy of a Japanese Tepanyaki grill. The freshest Italian pizzas at the humble British roast. Think flame-grilled Brazilian barbecue served at the table and fragrant Spanish paella.

“Each dish is lovingly prepared from ancient recipes with a modern fusion!” Whatever that means.

A seated all-you-can-eat dinner is currently £21 plus drinks.
