From 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., guests will find choices such as breakfast pizzas, sausages, bacon, baked eggs, scrambled eggs, hash browns, waffles, sticks French toast, cinnamon sticks and cactus bread. Salad bar and soups are also available.
Roundhouse Brewery has a new feature menu. Avocado tacos top two avocado halves with seasoned ground beef, cheddar cheese, tomato, cilantro and ranch sriracha. Bourbon Chicken features a grilled piece of bourbon-glazed chicken with mango peach salsa and sides of roasted potatoes and sautéed vegetables. Other options are jambalaya, a shrimp po’boy, and a fish sandwich.
The specifics of the month of May on Blarney Stone include chicken marsala, balsamic brussels sprouts, greek salad and a greek wrap, both served with chicken. They are available for lunch and dinner.
May’s featured menu on Tinner Public House brings choices that reflect a change in weather. Go light with a strawberry salad, chicken salad sandwich or Greek flatbread. If it’s a comforting day, try Italian meatballs with pasta.
Salas Salsas and A family beer team up for a “seafood and micheladas” feast. The menu includes a seafood cocktail, empanadas and ceviche tostadas. The micheladas – Mexico’s take on a tomato juice beer – will feature Salas’ house blend paired with the brewery’s Sergeant Pepper beer. The event will take place from 6-9 p.m. Saturday at the Brewery East of Sioux Falls. And if you’re a fan of Deadwood’s Chubby Chipmunk hand-dipped chocolates, the brewery will be selling them this weekend. Nine flavors are available and the crew will suggest beer pairings for them.

A meatless sub has earned a spot on the menu at Jersey Mike’s Subs. Arriving at #64, the Grilled Swiss Portabella Mushroom features fresh portabella, green pepper and onion with Swiss cheese. Note: The annual Giving Day raised $20 million for this year’s Special Olympics in the United States. Jersey Mike’s donated all March 30 sales for the event.
Power Plate meal created low-carb, high-protein frozen pizzas. The convenience food company that focuses on healthy options offers two versions: BBQ Chicken and Meat Lover. They’re on a cauliflower crust. While the store’s offerings change every two weeks, the pizzas will be available every day, while supplies last.
Papa Murphy’s added dairy-free cheese to its take-out pizza menu. He uses Violife, a plant-based alternative to cheese.

Dairy Queen’s The new Blizzard line is available with two new flavors: Oreo Dirt Pie and Caramel Fudge Cheesecake. The other offerings are Cotton Candy, Girl Scout Thin Mints, Drumstick With Peanuts, and Very Cherry Chip.
Food Truck Tuesdays started this week Golf addiction. Every Tuesday until September 13, the 57th and Marion business hosts half a dozen food trucks in turn from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. There is live music and a free bouncy house for the kids. Golf Addiction sells beer, with Fernson Brewing Co. being the choice of local brewery.
The traveling food truck On the Hook Fish & Chips will be in Sioux Falls on Saturday. It will be in the Tractor Supply Co. parking lot on North Cliff Avenue from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. And be prepared: prices have gone up another dollar to $14 for a meal.
Remedy Brewing Co. and the South Dakota Chapter of the American Advertising Federation are holding a contest to find a winning can for the brewery’s SourCopter. The sour IPA will be released this fall. The winning designer will receive a SourCopter crate, trophy and four-player entry to the AAF-SD Golf Tournament in June. Registrations are due May 18. It’s the last weekend for Midway Cafe in Hartford before the two carnival food stalls owned by Rose Zeig took to the stage. The hours will be from noon to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Update: Midway Cafe will be closed Friday due to Thursday’s storm.
Abelardo’s Mexican Fresh has new extended hours for the summer: 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 3 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
