My Little Pony Cafe Food

You won’t go wrong with the Mozzarella cheese sticks ($12.90+) begin.

These were nicely stringy without being overly salty, and while I found them a little bland, a dip in the savory tomato sauce did the trick to add a zing.

my little pony chicken

If you’re still feeling peckish, take the Chicken Karaage with Garlic Soy Glaze ($15.90+)who comes with a garlic and soy dip that you can pair with the crispy karaage chicken. Otherwise, you can also consider getting a side of Hand Cut Truffle Fries ($14.90+) or the Impossible Mini Corn Dog ($14.90+).

my little pony cafe burger establishment

For sector, fill with The Dashing Magical Rainbow Dash Impossible Plant-Based Burger ($27.90+). We were intrigued by the blue mantou, which turned out to be surprisingly light and fluffy despite having been left out for a while. Inside the soft buns was a homemade impossible patty, cheddar cheese, tamago, and caramelized onions. You also get a side of fries and salad.

The savory plant-based patty was well seasoned and contrasted well with the sweetness of the egg and Japanese onions. I enjoyed this burger, but found myself wishing it was slightly bigger.

my little pony cafe rice

Those who prefer rice as their carbohydrate of choice can try Chicken Karaage Magic Potion With Beet Cream Rice ($26.90+). This cute dish looked just like its picture on the menu; you get a potion-bottle-shaped mount of rice, complete with a generous helping of pink-hued beetroot cream sauce. Carrot stars and cheddar cheese hearts adorn each plate, making it even more photo-worthy. You also get a small portion of fried chicken pieces, which we eliminated almost immediately.

While I appreciated the aesthetic effort, I found the rice to be too sticky and lumpy, while the beetroot sauce was quite bland. The creamy sauce had a thick consistency, which made it less appetizing after our extended shoot. This dish is certainly best appreciated as soon as it arrives on your table.

my little pony cafe latte

If you like your coffee extra creamy, you might enjoy the Pinkie Pie Iced Latte ($12.90+). I found it way too milky for me so it didn’t give me the caffeine kick I needed. The price of this drink was also quite high for a latte, so I would miss it.

my little pony coffee galaxy drink

There is also a whimsical look Lychee Yuzu Galaxy Soda ($13.90+), which luckily wasn’t too sweet. Served with dry ice for a theatrical effect, this refreshing drink comes with two pieces of lychee for added texture.

my little pony coffee apple pie

End your meal in style with the Just Apple Applejack Homemade Apple Pie ($22.90+). This dessert will appeal to all Applejack fans and not just for its pretty plating.

Served with the complete works – a homemade butter cookie, vanilla ice cream, fresh fruit and a dose of crunchy hearts for a cute touch – the freshly baked pie was deliciously crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. interior.

Atmosphere at My Little Pony

My Little Pony Cafe is a pop-up concept from Kumoya that took over the place of the Hello Kitty Shabu Shabu restaurant. This iteration sees colorful themed decor draped from the ceiling, plushies dotted throughout the space, as well as a small corner store stocked with some of the hottest My Little Pony merchandise in town. It’s as obvious as it gets – exactly what the pop-up cafe industry does best.

The casual cafe is located in Orchard Central, just above Somerset MRT station. Seating is plentiful, but if you want the best lighting, opt for the tables closest to the windows.

The verdict

my little pony cafe verdict

Although I’m not familiar with My Little Pony, I can see the coffee shop’s appeal to those who are avid fans of the series. Each dish comes with bright and colorful cutouts of the characters, sure to appeal to the little ones and the young at heart.

Unfortunately, the dishes we tried weren’t exactly stunning. For the prices quoted, I was slightly disappointed with the portions served. Still, it’s a place to bookmark if you’re trying to impress a cartoon-obsessed kid. Now can we have a Powerpuff Girls themed cafe for old times sake please?

If you are planning to visit the cafe, it is best to make a reservation through their online portal to secure seats. Walk-ins are also available, but there is no guarantee that spaces will be available.
